E’ stata pubblicata sul sito dell’Ambasciata d’Italia nella sezione in Lingua Italiana la lista degli studenti idonei.

La liste des étudiants ayant passé positivement le test de langue, premiere étape pour l’obtention d’un VISA pour les études universitaires en Italie, a eté pubblié sur le site de l’Ambassade d’Italie dans les pages en langue italienne.

La realizzazione del progetto per la produzione di energia dalle biomasse forestali ad Edea è in via di definizione. In effetti, il Gruppo italiano “Bioenergie e Biomasse Italia” sta avviando in questi giorni il progetto, che valorizzerà il sito industriale dismesso della “Cellucam” nella città di Edea.  Le società che volessero intenzionate a lavorare con il gruppo ” Bioenergie e Biomasse Italia” dispongono di  circa 5000 m2 che potranno essere adibiti ad uffici e depositi.

In occasione dell’attribuzione della cittadinanza onoraria ad una delegazione d’imprenditori italiani dell’Emilia Romagna, da parte del Sindaco del Quinto Municipio di Douala, Mme Françoise FONING, una delegazione capeggiata dal Console del Camerun a Firenze Avv. Ildo Morelli, ha reso visita al Consolato d’Italia per presentare il Progetto dell’Associazione Il Terzo Mondo, presieduta da Tchameni Charles.

Gli imprenditori Allen Boscolo, Presidente della Cooperativa Portuale di ravenna, Veniero Rossetti del Gruppo Consar di Ravenna hanno infatti ricevuto le chiavi della Municipalità di Douala V e dopo le visite protocollari al Governatore della Regione del Littoral, al Prefetto del WOURI, alla Chefferie BALEVENG di DSCHANG e al Porto Autonomo di Douala hanno potuto scegliere i terreni di Bonamoussadi sui quali sorgerà la sede dell’Associazione.

Vêtements, ordinateurs, matériels paramédicaux, jouets pour enfants, le tout pour une dizaine de millions de francs cfa. Ainsi était la composition du don offert mardi dernier à la mairie de Douala V par des hommes d’affaires italiens de la villa portuaire de Ravenna, en visite au Cameroun du 4 au 9 Mars. Cette délégation composée de quatre entrepreneurs était conduite par le Consul honoraire du Cameroun à Florence, Ildo Morelli et a vu la participation de consul honoraire d’Italie au Cameroun, Mauro Battistella. Ce don intervient quelques semaines seulement après celui offert par l’école sous l’arbre humanitaire.

Le Maire de Douala V, Françoise Foning, a apprécié ce geste qui permet de lutter contre le chômage et la pauvreté dans l’arrondissement de Douala V et souhaite voir pérenniser  ce partenariat avec les hommes d’affaires italiens. « Nous souhaitons que cette relation se renforce chaque jour davantage et que d’autres actions humanitaires plus importantes se concrétisent rapidement. A travers ce geste, nous scellons notre partenariat », promet Françoise Foning. Les hommes d’affaires italiens souhaitent installer à Douala V une antenne de l’Association Tiers Monde dont le siège est à Ravenna. Ils ont ensuite visité quelques sites et structures dont des centres de santé et des orphelinats.

L’Ambassade d’Italie à Yaounde et le Consulat d’Italie à Douala Vous invite au cycle de cinéma pour célebrer le 150eme anniversaire de l’Unité d’Italie. Il se tiendra au CCF du 29 Mars au 28 Avril 2011. Pour tout reinsegnement bien vouloir contacter le CCF.

Open call for Art Enclosures – Residencies for visiting international artists in Venice
Fondazione di Venezia is pleased to announce the new upcoming residency of the project Art Enclosures. Confini d’arte – Residencies for visiting international artists in Venice and would like to bring to your attention the general terms and
deadlines of the residency programme, which will take place in Venice from June, July and September 2011 (with a break in August)
The application deadline is 30 March 2011.

The project
The project consists in a three-month residency period offering a series of activities and an opportunity for visibility to two emerging artists up to the age of 40 from the African continent.
The programme makes available to the artists spaces to work and part of the materials necessary to create a works of art to be completed by the end of the 3-month period. The materials will be made available according to the artist’s requests.
The visiting artists will also have the opportunity to be involved in the studio activities organized for them and thus come into contact with other local and international artists and the cultural activities run by Fondazione di Venezia and its institutional partners.
During the residency period, a number of meetings will be organized locally to introduce and showcase the figure of the artist and his/her work in the most appropriates places, in particular university centers, art institutions and galleries.
Finally, the artists will be offered the possibility to visit on a complimentary basis some of the main exhibitions and museums in the area. At the end of the three months’ residency, a small exhibition of the works produced will be held with the specific support of the
artists themselves. A catalogue about the project will be published at the end of all residencies project.

For each artist the project will cover:
– travelling expenses from the artist’s country to Venice and back;
– accommodation in apartments provided by Fondazione di Venezia;
– a monthly grant of 700 euro before taxes for living and travelling expenses while in Venice;

Application
In order to participate in the programme, artists must send via e-mail the following materials at artenclosures@fondazionedivenezia.org
– a general portfolio with minimum of 10 art works (including captions);
– a curriculum vitae (indicate the most used e-mail address and a cell number to be able to contact the candidate);
– a short artistic statement (max. 600 characters) in English (or French);
– a proposal (max. 600 characters) of the project/artwork that might be implemented/created during the residency period (English or French).
Notice: the portfolio must be sent in a PDF format or/and as a sequence of images in a JPG format; all the texts must be send in a PDF or RTF extension.
Besides, the participants must guarantee their permanent presence in Venice, must be free from any previous engagement for the indicated period, and must hold a valid passport.
The selected artists will be notified within the end of April 2011.

Notice: second open call for autumn residency
We would like to inform you, by now, that in autumn will take place another and the last residency of the Art Enclosures project for which a new open call with term and deadline will be communicated in April 2011.
